Beard Oil
My beard oil is a proprietary blend of natural, high quality, plant based oils designed to soften and condition the beard itself as well as the skin underneath. I spent several months researching beard oils, both the oils used historically by many cultures and the properties of of currently available natural oils. The formula I came up with is the best I have found offered anywhere. It will not only condition and strengthen your beard, it will also take care of the skin underneath. This beard oil helps you grow the strongest, healthiest beard possible.
My No Nonsense line has no added fragrances, colors or any other such nonsense. These products are pure and unadulterated for those times that you need something that just works without anything additional.
Each of my scent blends is inspired by a story, or a feeling. I only use essential oils for my scents.
Jolly Roger is the Caribbean in a bottle.
During the Golden Age of Piracy sailors on both sides of the law had to use what they could find locally to create a wearable scent that was irresistible. While I am using steam distilled essential oils instead of alcohol extracted essential oils, the end result is very similar. A blend of West Indies Bay, Bitter Orange, Amyris (West Indies Sandalwood), and Allspice it brings out the pirate, or rum runner in all of us.
Eye of the Storm is a blend of essential oils that is woodsy, yet warm and calming. It evokes a sense of being calm, confident, and competent, capable of bringing order while everything around you has descended into chaos.
Northern Lights is a blend of spearmint, anise, and juniper that evokes the crisp, refreshing beauty of the far North. It brings to mind the rugged beauty of Scandinavian Fjords and the lands that spawned the Vikings.
Wild Hunt is a mixture of essential oils that captures the essence of a Northern European forest, much like the ones where the Wild Hunt has been reported to ride
Across Northern Europe there is a belief in a "Wild Hunt". It crosses cultures and national boundaries, and while the specifics of which Deity or supernatural being leads the hunt vary, the core is the same. At various times a hunt consisting of spirits of the dead, or other supernatural creatures, mounted on horses with some sort of spectral or otherworldly dogs, passes over into our world from one of the supernatural realms. As it proceeds, it can gather up mortal beings to be either prey or predator and often, according to legend, leaving them many miles away from their starting point, if they survive.
If you select random, I will ship you one of the scents (I will not ship you the unscented unless requested). They are all great and they are all "elevator safe".
How to use
Dispense oil into hand (start with about a dime size amount), rub hands together and run through beard to transfer the oil.
My rule of thumb is that if your beard feels dry and brittle halfway through your day increase the amount of beard oil the next day, or use salve. If the skin along the edge of your beard feels oily, reduce the amount of oil you use.
